lyrics
There's a place where I feel seen
And it's all in green
There's a space where I feel heard
Everyone of my words
It was time that I let one through my door
Furthermore said what was on my mind
You're my safe space baby
you're where I feel welcome few will see
All my headspace baby
You support who I've become earnestly
When you speak I listen
To what you seek within
When you hear my intentions
What we shape is connection
It is time that I start taking back the floor
Furthermore say what is on my mind
You're my safe space baby
You're where I feel welcome few will see
All my headspace baby
You support who I've become earnestly
You're my safe space baby
You're where I feel welcome you can see
And embrace me baby
You support who I've become earnestly

A truly stunning album that mentally transports you to foggy early morning streets, the pavement wet from recent rains. Dreary, but in a comforting way. Like sitting next to a window during a rainstorm, listening to the drops hit the glass while remaining warm. Never fails to make me feel safe. Crow Yo
I picked Brown Study purely for the Jens Lekman vibes. However, this entire album just gets more comfortable with every listen. This might be a niche take, but to me it's as if singer/songwriter Jens Lekman turned his hand to dream pop and trip hop while taking the rhythmic vibes of Cigarettes After Sex and dialing them up to "waking up in the morning after sex" tempo. It's a sonic trip is all I can say. riotgrrrl_meg
